Network Engineer V

This senior-level engineer specializes in Extreme Networks solutions and leads network infrastructure design, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Requires deep expertise in LAN/WAN, routing, switching, network security, and multiple vendor technologies.

Plan, implement, and document network upgrades and migrations.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

Manage network-related projects and documentation.

Configure and optimize Extreme Networks products.

Support integrations with Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, Ruckus, Aruba, and other systems.

BA/BS with 5+ years OR AA/AS with 7+ years.

IAT Level II and CE/OS certification.

CCNA certification (required).

Experience with VMware NSX, Palo Alto, Ruckus, Cisco, Aruba, Brocade, Ciena, Extreme IQ.

Strong project management and troubleshooting skills.

May be asked to provide proof of US citizenship.

Must be able to maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance throughout the life of the contract.

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position generally requires light work with occasional lifting of up to (30) pounds or more, carrying supplies, equipment.

The job requires varying amounts of sitting, standing, and walking.

This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

The ability to communicate clearly with an excellent comprehension of the English language is essential.
