In this role, you'll serve as a technical leader driving the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure and software initiatives that support the nation's airspace.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end program execution: Define, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of network infrastructure and software projects, from concept through deployment.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with RAN, hardware, software, and systems integration teams-plus external vendors-to deliver on schedule and at scale.
- Own technical risk management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, particularly in network deployments.
- Translate strategy into action: Align technical deliverables with broader business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term timelines.
- Communicate with impact: Provide clear, actionable status updates, dashboards, and briefings to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements
- Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is required.
- Technical Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure planning.
- Program Leadership: 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional projects, including large-scale or multi-million-dollar initiatives.
- Networking Expertise: Strong command of core networking protocols, including BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with optical networking, data center environments, and server-level hardware deployments.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Working knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Capacity & Financial Planning: Proven ability to model network growth, optimize capacity, and align technical decisions with budget constraints.

Benefits & conditions
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
