Software Developer

An employer in the Melbourne, FL area is seeking a Software Developer to join their team as a direct hire employee. In this role, the Senior Software Developer will be providing technical subject matter expertise to help identify and define both technical and programmatic requirements and design software solutions that enable new capabilities. They will perform hands-on technical troubleshooting across local computing and cloud environments and conduct analysis to determine assignable failures, recommending and implementing effective software solutions. The role includes supporting and assisting with the testing of both in-house and third-party software, as well as contributing recommendations related to software platform management, documentation, and the control of mission requirements through an agile software development process that incorporates robust cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, the developer will support the acquisition, integration, and sustainment of computer systems by contributing to software development, testing, and deployment across multiple domains. This individual will regularly coordinate with customers to understand and document application requirements, particularly in support of cloud migration efforts, and will contribute expertise in software development methodologies while providing technical support for projects critical to mission execution.

5+ years of experience as a Software Developer

Experience with Python, Go, Java, JavaScript

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principle

CompTIA Sec+ (or able to obtain within 180 days of hire) Cloud experience

Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or IT

Active Top-Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible) in last 2 years Active CompTIA Sec+ Cert
