Database Infrastructure Engineer

This role focuses on designing end-to-end Oracle database infrastructure solutions on DBaaS Exadata platforms, leveraging modern automation and DevOps practices., * Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible playbooks

• Build and deploy Oracle Database solutions on DBaaS Exadata platforms
• Own the end-to-end design and implementation of Oracle infrastructure using Terraform
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of database infrastructure
• Integrate infrastructure deployments with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps, database, and application teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments
• Troubleshoot and optimize database infrastructure performance and availability
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices

Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

Primary Skills

• Terraform
• Ansible (Ansible Tower preferred)

Secondary Skills

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Horizon, XLR
• Relational databases: Oracle (preferred), MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Version control: GitHub, Bitbucket
• Scripting: Shell Scripting
• Database programming: SQL / PL/SQL

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible, along with strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and relational database technologies., * 7+ years of overall IT experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible
• 6+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, XLR, Horizon, or similar)
• Experience supporting and managing enterprise-scale database environments
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting is a strong plus
