Software Engineer II

Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an AI/ML Data Architecture Software Engineer with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance for work out of either Manassas, VA or Middletown, RI. This role will work within a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government personnel to define, design, and integrate software capabilities into complicated military systems., * Assist and participate in the requirements, design, prototyping, development and testing of data warehouse technologies including development of new products and enhancements of existing applications and systems.

• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Participate in daily scrums, 2 week sprints, quarterly program increments, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies.
• Work includes database, middleware, API, and prototype development.

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering.

Experience: 3 years of relevant experience., * Knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite, Git, and Linux. Preferred knowledge in C++, Java, Python, Linux.

• Candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge in the areas of Databases, SQL and No-SQL (Postgres, MongoDB), Apache Data Frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, OpenMetadata, Ranger), Data Infrastructure (Ceph, S3, MinIO/Parquet, REST, Nessie, Druid), Data APIs (Trino, Metabase, MLLib, Superset).
• Knowledge in the areas of software prototyping, VS Code, Cursor IDE, and prompt engineering.
• Candidates possessing knowledge in these technologies will be considered exceptional candidates including Kubernetes, RKE2, containerization, Helm, AI/ML APIs, SparkML, AI/ML Integration (LLM Development Stack), DPCN training, PINN training, Vision-based World Model integration, software-based action model or agentic development integration.
