As a global company that's innovating at the speed of light, we are seeking a senior data/analytics engineer to join the Finance Data Office team helping our organization scale with this incredible growth. This role supports across all Finance functions, driving cross-functional process improvement, and scale to support F&S, RevOps, and several others. We are responsible for data pipelines feeding daily ops reporting companywide, monthly close throughout Finance, & quarterly earnings up to Investor Relations., * Landing and wrangling large data sets using Salesforce, SQL/Snowflake, and Python to identify, quantify and monitor financial and/or operational risks in financial and companywide processes
- Managing and building complex multi-source data sets while ensuring refresh accuracy and timeliness
- Migrating and rebuilding data infrastructure from an evolving tool landscape
- Conduct end to end testing, auditing ELT pipelines/data curations to improve the runtime, accuracy, efficiency, and cost. Develop and refine data curations to eliminate manual work
- Collect and translate business requests into documented requirements and scalable data models
- Migrating various data workflows to standardized data engineering tools (dbt, Informatica, python)
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and personas to define KPIs, align on approaches, and audit data results ensuring we provide holistic completeness and accuracyOur organization is embedded within Finance, as such we are expected to broadly understand the processes, goals, and strategies to help operators overcome data limitations, get to insight faster, provide time savings, and other forms of ROI
Requirements
Do you have experience in Statistics?, The ideal candidate will have SQL expertise in data & analytics engineering and automation, with hands-on experience with long and wide data sets. The candidate is expected to bring new ideas on improving processes and additional technologies we can use as a data organization. The candidate will be in dbtCloud and Snowflake managing and building a variety of key datasets. Also, as the data landscape evolves, you'll be responsible for migrating various parts of our data ecosystem. Finally, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with a range of talented teams and work with amazing individuals by collaborating to deliver measurable business impact., * 8+ yrs of hands-on experience in Operations, Finance, and Data Management in analytics, reporting, data analysis and aggregation
- Advanced in SQL authoring, editing and optimization (test will be administered)
- API calls knowledge with Python, VM, Airflow, Google App Script, Alteryx, and experience transforming data with dbt
- Knowledgeable of Data Science and statistical techniques
- Hands-on large company experience in managing data integrations and data pipelines
- Hands-on large company experience in building new processes in an undefined environment
- Ability to connect the data between business processes
- Creative in approaches to problem solving
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance
- Passion and love for data/new technology is a must, as well as understanding industry trendsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ yrs of hands-on experience in Operations, Finance, and Data Management in analytics, reporting, data analysis and aggregation
- 7+ yrs experience in advanced SQL authoring, editing and optimization with tools like Snowflake, SQL Developer, MySQL, dbt/dbtCloud
- Making API calls to integrated systems, such as: Salesforce, Coupa, Workday, Concur, Hyperion, Slack, etc
- 2+ yrs Data Science relevant work experience: Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Predictive models, and Time Series
- Experience building Tableau dashboards and working with Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud
- Experience working with Informatica Cloud
- Hands-on large company experience in managing data integrations and data pipelines across an entire business unit
- Comfortable building end-to-end processes from scratch, in an undefined environment
- Ability to "connect the dots" between business process, business outcomes, transformation, and data
- Creative problem-solver who can adapt themselves and enjoys working in an ever-changing environment
- Understanding the importance of data governance and managing data sets in a tool like Alation
- Passion and love for data/new technology, proactively bringing new ideas and technologies forward
- Effectively communicate to business partners in unambiguous, non-technical terms
- Certifications: SnowPro Specialty/Advanced (Architect/Data Engineer); dbt Analytics Engineering; Python for ETL/ELT

The typical base salary range for this position is $123,100 - $186,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually.
The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
