Job description

  • An Embedded DevOps Engineer works directly within engineering teams from the earliest planning stages through execution.

  • Pilot currently active with ICP and P+ teams

  • Expanding to two additional teams in January

  • Long term objective: establish a scalable embedded DevOps model

  • Fully embedded within an assigned engineering team (initially ICP)

  • 1:1 pairing with developers for hands on knowledge transfer

  • Engineering teams own their tickets (no centralized DevOps queue)

  • Drive automation, process improvement, and efficiency

  • Operate within a buddy system to ensure shared learning and support

  • Opportunity to build greenfield automation and define CI/CD standards

  • High visibility and significant organizational impact

  • Ability to influence the direction of the DevOps function early in its evolution

Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship not available., * Terraform (non negotiable must have)

  • CI/CD pipeline creation, management, and deployment
  • Azure preferred over AWS
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Familiarity with observability platforms: Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic (nice-to-have)
  • Azure Currently - can come from a mixed cloud environment but 60% of their time must be spent in Azure
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • Build CI/CD Pipelines
  • IaC
  • PaaS strongly preferred
