Job description
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our customer delivery team. In this role, you ll work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered conversational solutions on the platform. This is a high-impact, customer-facing position that blends software engineering, solution architecture, and technical consulting. This is a 12-month contract role requiring 30 40% travel to client sites across the US and occasionally globally.
What You ll Do
- Partner with Customers: Serve as the technical authority alongside customer teams to design and deploy AI solutions that solve real business problems.
- Build & Deliver: Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), demos, and production-grade implementations using the platform.
- Integrate: Connect with enterprise systems such as CRM (Salesforce), ITSM (ServiceNow), and custom APIs using REST APIs, webhooks, and serverless functions.
- Troubleshoot: Proactively identify and resolve technical blockers during deployment, ensuring a smooth path to production.
- Collaborate: Act as the bridge between customers and internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering), providing feedback to influence product roadmap.
- Travel: Conduct on-site workshops, implementation sprints, and stakeholder meetings (30 40% travel).
Requirements
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and/or Node.js/JavaScript.
- Deep experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations (experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or SAP is a plus).
- Familiarity with AI/ML/NLP/LLM concepts, particularly in the context of chatbots, conversational AI, or automation platforms.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Ability to debug complex distributed systems in customer environments.
