Job description
- Work as part of an Agile Scrum team to design and develop end-to-end Platform Features using C/C++ in the Game SDK, React/React-Native/JS in the front-end, and Java/JS/Graph QL in the backend, delivering highly scalable applications running on the PS5 console.
- Own and deliver Multi-platform SDK features and Sample Programs using C/C++ and be accountable for the results.
- Ability to support front-end UI components/backend server development as needed.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX designers on requirements.
- Investigate and Resolve reported Defects and work with the QE team members to close on the issues.
- Work on continuous improvement of software, by profiling, refactoring and optimizing the code.
- Work with limited supervision under tight time constraints and respond to rapidly evolving requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. .
- Solid base in Computer Science, understanding of OOP, Data Structures, and Design Patterns.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- 3+ years of experience with designing and developing SDKs, Front-End Apps, and integrating with backend services.
- Strong programming skills using C/C++, experience with Front-End development using JS/React/React Native.
- Passionate about quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well.
- A collaborative teammate, a fast learner, with a positive and can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with popular JavaScript UI frameworks, React and React Native, Node.js, and Restful APIs.
- Experience with Service-side development using Java or other server programming languages like Python
- Built and developed GraphQL-based applications
- Experience working in Gaming, Digital Media Services, Device Software.
- Experience working with a large multi-cultural team that values collaboration and inclusive professional conduct.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below. $193,300-$289,900 USD
