This strategic, hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving data-enabled operational excellence across the manufacturing organization. The Manufacturing Data Analytics Manager leads cross-functional teams in building and sustaining a continuous improvement culture, leveraging advanced analytics, systems development, and data-driven decision-making. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights, and the leadership presence to influence improvement initiatives at all organizational levels.
- Lead the analysis of manufacturing, operational, and system performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization.
- Oversee data extraction, integration, and governance across multiple platforms, including SAP, SQL databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Manage the development, automation, and continuous enhancement of reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics solutions that support both manufacturing operations and broader business needs.
- Present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and business relevance.
- Direct the development and deployment of data visualization tools and applications to support complex decision-making and long-term operational strategy.
- Partner with leaders and teams across the organization to identify, prioritize, and oversee system and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage and enhance custom analytical applications, including Excel- and VBA-based tools.
- Collaborate with IT and SAP teams to modernize, automate, and optimize reporting ecosystems.
- Provide high-level system and data support to business units and production teams, ensuring reliability and accessibility.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations for future projects, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee and support departmental training related to systems, tools, analytics, and data literacy.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in the field.
- Strong analytical abilities with demonstrated skill in interpreting and synthesizing data from multiple systems.
- Proficiency with SAP, SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization technologies.
- Experience programming with Microsoft technologies or comparable languages is a plus.
- Ability to think strategically and operate independently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of personal accountability.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[cust_salaryMin]] and $[[cust_salaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
