Job description

The Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team designs and deploys robust infrastructure solutions supporting government and private sector clients. This is an automation-first organization - all cloud resources are deployed via IaC tooling for efficiency and consistency. Engineers collaborate with internal product teams and customer-facing units to deliver scalable, provider-agnostic solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The client base includes local, state, and federal government agencies as well as private sector organizations engaged in government-related missions.

Responsibilities

Write, modify, and run Terraform from an existing codebase to deploy and maintain infrastructure across multiple cloud providers; debug deployment errors.

Run and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks to manage customer infrastructure.

Use GitLab across multiple repositories to maintain customer infrastructure and create merge requests for changes.

Configure, build, and deploy containerized services using Docker and/or Kubernetes.

Access traffic flow data to troubleshoot connectivity issues between customer and hosted environments.

Produce and maintain technical documentation covering network and system design and governance.

Develop SOPs, knowledge base articles, technical bulletins, and supporting infrastructure documents.

Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging across a multi-tenant, multi-cloud infrastructure.

Operate with a security-first mindset across all responsibilities.

Leverage generative AI tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security within approved guidelines.
