Job description
The Enterprise Connectivity team is seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise-scale networking across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role focuses on building secure, scalable connectivity between enterprise data centers, telecom providers, and public cloud environments. The Cloud Network Engineer will partner closely with cloud network architects, network engineers, security engineers, and cloud engineers to support hybrid and multi-cloud workloads., * Deploying and operating enterprise-scale cloud networking across Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Building and maintaining secure, scalable connectivity between data centers, telecom providers, and public cloud environments
- Implementing network solutions supporting hybrid and multi-cloud workloads
- Collaborating with cloud network architects, network engineers, security engineers, and cloud engineers
- Designing and operating cloud-native networking services, enterprise routing, and BGP route engineering
- Supporting network security, including next-generation firewalls and secure traffic flows
- Providing advanced technical support and serving as an escalation point for complex incidents
- Performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting after-hours maintenance windows, cutovers and incident escalations as required
How You'll Succeed
- Applying deep expertise in cloud networking services across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Engineering reliable, scalable connectivity using BGP, VPNs, intercloud networking, and MACsec
- Troubleshooting complex issues using tools such as Wireshark, traceroute, dig/nslookup, iperf, and traffic analysis utilities
- Leveraging automation and infrastructure-as-code to standardize and scale deployments
- Collaborating effectively with global teams and tracking work using tools like Jira
- Following ITSM best practices (incident, change, and request management)
- Maintaining clear documentation and knowledge transfer
Requirements
This position requires deep expertise in cloud-native networking, enterprise routing, BGP route engineering, network security, and automation using infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools. Success in this role requires strong technical rigor, communication skills, and a commitment to service excellence., * Experience in highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments
- Prior experience as an escalation resource for complex network incidents
- Strong background supporting global networks and distributed teams
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
- Cloud networking certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Cisco networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) certification (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Active, current certifications are strongly preferred, * Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience in cloud network service delivery and operations and routing, switching, and firewall operations.
- Experience in Multi-Cloud Networking: Design and operate enterprise networking across at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, and GCP, including native connectivity services, routing, segmentation, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience in Hybrid & Intercloud Connectivity: Architect hybrid networks connecting data centers, carrier-neutral facilities, and public clouds using VPNs, BGP, MACsec, and telco circuits.
- Experience in Network Security & SD-WAN: Support and integrate Cisco SD-WAN, Palo Alto, F5, and cloud-native security and traffic-engineering solutions.
- Experience in Data Center & Enterprise Networking: Strong foundation in L2/L3 networking, IP routing (BGP, OSPF), and next-generation firewall platforms in regulated, global environments.
- Experience in Automation & Operations: Leverage Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, cloud CLIs, GitHub) with experience in incident escalation and ServiceNow workflows.

Benefits & conditions
Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $64,500 - $184,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
