Job description

This entry-level position is in the plastic extrusion department, focusing on assembly and packaging support for extrusion operators. You will be responsible for assembling housing for cartridges using small hand tools, labeling cartridges, and packaging. The plastic is extruded and rolled on spools, similar to spools of wire or yarn, but in sizes of 1 or 2 square feet. These spools are then removed from the machine, placed into plastic, and loaded into cartridges. Spools and cartridges are labeled and scanned into the computer using a hand scanner. The role requires working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse, machine operation, and packaging.
  • Proficiency in labeling and machine operating.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ months of packaging, warehouse, or assembly experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or machine operation environment.
  • Plastics experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.75/hr.
