Job description
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will lead the design, assessment, enhancement, and integration of advanced ServiceNow solutions for Huron's clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, steering strategic engagements and overseeing technical excellence from discovery through delivery. Leveraging your expertise in ServiceNow and in integrating with enterprise platforms such as Workday and Oracle, you will drive clarity, direction, and innovation in ambiguous and high-impact client environments., * Participates in requirements workshops and / or story grooming for a Huron ServiceNow project

Creates technical designs for stories as required

Estimates level of effort for user stories

Executes complex configurations and customizations including scripting, APIs; includes configuration, documentation, unit test case development, and unit testing (REST and SOAP integrations, integration spokes, and custom APIs for sending data from / to ServiceNow from external systems)

Provides day to day technical direction, support and mentoring to a project team of senior developers, developers and testers.

Assists in complex solutioning with a goal of maintaining OOB functionality to the greatest extent possible

Participates in architectural governance as required

Reviews Team unit test plans to ensure they are comprehensive and adequately prove required functionality. Ensure test cases are defined for happy path, conditional paths, negative paths, boundary conditions, and edge conditions.

Peer tests developer user stories

Peer reviews story implementations for best practices and ensures OOB functionality is retained to the greatest extent possible

Coordinates and collaborates with external system resources to define, implement, test, and deploy integrations

Point of technical contact during execution of UAT testing

Manages the creation of deployment documentation, scripts, update set packaging, validation, and technical signoff
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or other relevant field of study

5+ years in a ServiceNow technical delivery capacity (preferably with an Elite-level ServiceNow partner - not in an internal role)

7+ greenfield implementations of multiple ServiceNow modules, including "NowAssist" and "AI Agents"

Current Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification REQUIRED

Current Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certification REQUIRED

2 Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certifications in 2 different product lines REQUIRED

Progressive growth through experience as a developer and senior developer

Lead technical resource on your last 2 implementations

Working knowledge of predictive analytics, generative AI, and Agentic AI

Knowledge of virtual agent

Knowledge / Certification / experience with Performance Analytics

Strong JavaScript, node.js, Angular, and DOM knowledge / experience

Knowledge / experience with NowCreate / ServiceNow Best Practices

Experience with one or more of the following ServiceNow modules preferred: CSM, HRSD, Enterprise Asset Management, SPM, or GRC

ServiceNow CTA or CMA, preferred

The estimated base salary for this job is $165,000 - $190,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $189,750 - $237,500 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
