Requirements

  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above), * Must be able to leverage computer science expertise and tradecraft to solve mission problem sets.
  • Expertise with operation systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures.
  • Relevant experience in computer systems research, modeling/simulation development and prototyping, software design, programming, computational science, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer or information systems, including hardware and/or software.
  • Comfortable participating in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignments and external customer support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across multiple mission teams., Entry level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $116,000-$255,000 The BTS pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
