Security Architect - Consultant (Check Point / Cisco)

• Deploy, administer, and support Check Point security gateways (including VSX)
• Manage and optimize Check Point firewall rulebase for performance and visibility
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls in enterprise environments
• Design and implement security policies aligned with business and compliance requirements
• Administer Cisco Secure Firewall, Cisco ASA, and data center networking solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate security controls
• Implement and manage security features such as:

• IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems)
• Geo-blocking
• QoS policies

• Ensure adherence to security best practices and standards
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal IT teams
• Act as SME for Cisco + Check Point integration and architecture

• 10+ years of experience deploying and administering Check Point Security Gateways
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco data center networking products
• 5+ years of experience with Check Point VSX
• Hands-on experience with Check Point R82
• Strong experience in firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Previous or current Check Point and/or Cisco Certifications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco Remote Access VPN solutions
• Experience with Cisco FirePower
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture
