Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Top Secret) - Azure / AWS / Kube

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure in a classified / DoD environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and cloud security compliance (STIG).

This is a high-priority, fast-moving opportunity supporting a competitive program - candidates must be ready to operate at a platform ownership level.

Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Azure Landing Zones including governance, policies, and secure configurations Build and manage multi-cloud environments (Azure + AWS) including networking, DNS, TLS, and identity integration Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) in production environments Operate and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) Harden cloud infrastructure to meet STIG and DoD security requirements Support DevSecOps pipelines using CI/CD and GitOps methodologies Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, containers, and networking Collaborate with engineering and mission stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable systems

Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible required) 7+ years experience in cloud engineering or DevSecOps within a secure / DoD environment Proven experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC) in production Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or similar) Experience with Azure and AWS (multi-cloud environments) Familiarity with cloud networking (VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, TLS) Experience with STIG compliance and secure system configurations Active Security+ (IAT Level II) or equivalent DoD 8570 certification, Experience with AWS Direct Connect or advanced networking Familiarity with Crossplane or platform engineering frameworks Current Azure or AWS certifications Experience supporting federal / defense programs
