Oracle Database Architect

The Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) oversees the State's Medical Cannabis Program, which ensures medical cannabis available for certified patients with serious conditions and is dispensed and administered in a manner that protects public health and safety. This database architect role is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of a portfolio of applications within this domain. Duties

• Design, develop and maintain Oracle pl/sql packages across MCMDS application domain.
• Create and maintain database tables, views, sequences, triggers and other database objects.
• mplement error handling and logging changes in databases.
• Debug and fix issues in code and mentoring junior developers.
• Create, maintain and optimize SQL queries, joins and aggregations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Experience (15+ Years)
• Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.

• This is an 100% Onsite.
• 84 Months Experience using Oracle development tools such as SQL Plus, SQL Developer, and SQL Loader for programming and maintaining applications.
• 60 Months of Experience in Oracle PL/SQL and developing procedures and packages.
• 48 Months Experience designing and implementing logical and physical database models, including indexes, primary keys, foreign keys, and constraints.
• 48 months Experience optimizing, performance tuning, and debugging PL/SQL.
• 24 months Experience performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques.
