- Maintain a detailed environment catalog capturing instance inventory, current application and database versions, patch - set levels (Cohort Schedules), last refresh/clone dates, active project assignments, and usage timelines to support scheduling and planning; drive environment reduction/optimization via consolidation, enforced reuse and lifecycle compliance.
- Coordinate, broadcast communications on instance downtime, maintenance widows and any other technical activities.
Patching, Release & Change Governance
- Govern global patching, major version upgrades cadence (EBS & Cloud) with impact/risk reviews, test scope, and go/no - go decisions; enforce entry/exit criteria, sign - offs, and back - out plans for every deployment.
- Provide readiness and dependency updates to align with quarterly Cloud releases and project timelines.
- Support the Release Team by coordinating environment - related tasks for deployments, patching, cloning, configuration migrations, and version updates.
- Maintain environment - specific inputs to the release calendar (environment availability, sequencing constraints, freeze windows); the Release Team retains ownership of overall scheduling, governance, and CAB processes.
Cross - Functional Collaboration & Enterprise Alignment
- Coordinate with DBAs, Cloud Admins, Integration teams (e.g., OIC), QA, Release Management, Build/Run, Security, and Program/Project teams to align schedules and dependencies.
