Job description

Diversified Energy is seeking a technically proficient OT Systems Manager to provide advanced support and leadership across the organization's Operational Technology (OT) application ecosystem. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise-level application management, data integration, ETL/API technologies, and cross-functional collaboration. The position will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing a broad portfolio of applications supporting production, engineering, HSE, and field operations., Operational Support and Application Management

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and administration across 26 OT applications, including but not limited to ARIES, ARCGIS, WellView, Maximo.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues, ensuring high system reliability and timely resolution of incidents.
  • Maintain and oversee integrations between enterprise systems, including those utilizing Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Snowflake.
  • Execute and validate application upgrades, releases, patches, and major version deployments.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term stability improvements.
  • Support structured change management, testing coordination, and documentation of release activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cloud, infrastructure, and database teams to support hybrid on-premises and cloud-based application environments.
  • Understanding of SOX requirements is helpful.

Data Integration, Engineering, and Automation

  • Design, maintain, and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines supporting ETL workflows, API integrations, recurring jobs, and system-to-system data movement.
  • Utilize Snowflake to develop and refine data models, perform data transformations, enhance performance, and support operational analytics.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using SQL, Python, PowerShell, APIs, or equivalent technologies.
  • Reverse-engineer existing integrations and solutions to document the current state and support modernization initiatives.
  • Conduct independent research into historical tickets, documentation, and system logs to resolve recurring or systemic issues.
  • Engineer solutions that eliminate manual processes, reduce failure points, and improve operational efficiency.

Architecture and Solution Design

  • Produce documentation, including data flow diagrams, system architecture models, swimlane diagrams, and configuration documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for ADF pipelines, Snowflake objects, API integrations, and application-level configuration.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for OT application architecture, data strategy, and integration design.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to future-state solution architecture.

Requirements

Do you have experience in T-SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset, initiative, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Availability to provide after-hours support when required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including pipeline design, orchestration, parameterization, and monitoring.
  • Understanding and use of Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, compute utilization, tasks, streams, and transformation workflows.
  • Strong SQL expertise (T-SQL, PL/SQL) with demonstrated experience in stored procedures, triggers, database optimization, and ETL development.
  • Strong understanding of API integration patterns and modern ETL practices.
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as SharePoint Online, SQL Server and systems such as ESRI, ARIES, Maximo and WellView., * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
