Job description

We are seeking a Junior Microsoft 365 Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business solutions built on the Microsoft 365 platform. This role will assist in creating and supporting solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Copilot for Microsoft 365 under the guidance of senior team members. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career technology professional who wants to grow their skills in Microsoft 365 development, automation, collaboration tools, and governance best practices. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience with Microsoft 365 applications, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a team-oriented environment., * Assist in the development and support of solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online

  • Support the migration of legacy SharePoint environments to modern SharePoint architecture
  • Assist senior developers with implementation and testing of approved Copilot for Microsoft 365 features
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and help document business and technical needs
  • Collaborate with internal team members to build, test, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and user guides
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and provide support as needed
  • Follow established governance, security, and compliance standards
  • Track assigned work through ServiceNow or similar ticketing/IT service management tools
  • Provide basic user support and training for Microsoft 365-related solutions
  • Stay current on Microsoft 365 enhancements, updates, and new features
  • Participate in team meetings, projects, and related initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or junior development role
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Exposure to SharePoint Online
  • Exposure to one or more Power Platform tools, including:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Experience supporting users and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow established processes and standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Customer-focused mindset and openness to feedback

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to SharePoint migration or modernization efforts
  • Interest in or exposure to Copilot for Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled productivity tools
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • PowerShell
  • JSON
  • Microsoft Graph
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing tools
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 technologies through internships, academic projects, or prior work experience

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), * Eager to learn and grow within Microsoft 365 development
  • Comfortable working under the guidance of senior developers and analysts
  • Organized, process-oriented, and accountable
  • Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical teams and end users
  • Interested in modern workplace technologies, automation, and collaboration platforms, * Position requires full-time onsite work
  • Travel may be required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
