We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Jenison that are seeking skilled PLC Programmers. • Develop, program, and debug PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) logic for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing PLC programs, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications, and industrial control systems.
• Design, implement, and test new control system solutions and modifications based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform commissioning, startup, and optimization of new and modified machinery and production lines.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control system configurations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to enhance machine performance and process efficiency.
• Ensure all programming and control system designs comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company guidelines.

• Proficiency in PLC programming (eg, Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (eg, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP).
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and commissioning automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills for complex automation systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Robotics programming and integration experience
• Experience with industrial vision systems (eg, Cognex, Keyence)
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (eg, Python, C#) for data acquisition or custom tool development
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration and database connectivity
• Experience with industrial data analytics platforms or tools
