Job description

As a test engineer on our team, you'll use your experience to work with testers and engineers to evaluate software developed for the Intelligence Community. You'll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation and manual processes, you'll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.

Requirements

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or playwright
  • Experience in programming or scripting with tools such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Experience in database testing using tools such as SQL or Oracle Database
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS, such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS
  • Experience with OCI
  • Experience with managing Oracle Database instances
  • Experience with performance testing such as JMeter
  • Experience working on a large team

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
