Job description

CSCI Consulting is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Developer to support a large-scale Federal modernization initiative. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions that enable secure, scalable, and high-performing data exchange across enterprise systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement integration patterns, create API specifications, and ensure the reliability of all integration components. The developer will participate in Agile delivery, perform unit testing and debugging, and contribute to internal best-practice initiatives. A SAFe certification is required or must be obtained within the first 60 days of onboarding., * Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft integration solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs
  • Ensure MuleSoft applications meet security, scalability, and performance standards
  • Create API specifications and implement API-led connectivity designs
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation to ensure integration reliability
  • Support Agile delivery processes and ceremonies
  • Contribute to code reviews and enforce development best practices
  • Support automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven and GitLab
  • Contribute integration artifacts and reusable components to internal organizational initiatives

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development and/or architecture experience
  • Secret Clearance
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer
  • Experience using the SAP Connector
  • Experience with high-availability, fault-tolerance, performance testing, and tuning across multiple engagements
  • Experience creating automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven and GitLab
  • Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
  • Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence, * Experience supporting enterprise integration initiatives in Federal environments
  • Familiarity with SAP integration patterns and enterprise data flows
  • Relevant MuleSoft or integration-focused certifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
  • Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
  • Past experience working with a Federal government agency
  • Department of War experience is a plus!
