Job description
The Software Engineer will help build Autodesk Fusion, a cutting-edge platform for design and manufacturing professionals. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role focuses on hands-on implementation, agile development, and contributions to software architecture. Working closely with cross-functional teams-including product management, UX, and QA-the Software Engineer ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable software that aligns with Autodesk's mission to provide continuous value to customers worldwide., * Develop and implement features for Autodesk Fusion using modern programming practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
- Typical projects: Enhancing modeling capabilities, integrating cloud services, and improving application performance
- Technologies used: C++, Python, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools
- Role type: Individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality results
- Travel: Minimal, primarily for team meetings or conferences, * Experience with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software or design/manufacturing workflows
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
- Background in performance optimization and large-scale application development
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
