Software Engineer Job Opening Ann Arbor Michigan

For this job, the Software Engineer will work out of the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan and will work within a product development team that focuses on innovative, embedded software. The Software Engineer will also develop and continuously maintain the software for the company. The Software Engineer must collaborate with the engineering team to design new parts of software to be utilized and embedded within semiconductors and controllers that the company manufactures. The Software Engineer will not have direct reports, but will help mentor and train other software professionals within the company. The Software Engineer will report to the Director of Product Development for this job., * The Software Engineer will design and code new software engineering products for the company while working out of the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan location.

• The Software Engineer will work cross-functionally to strategize improvements and innovations to company software, as the company prides itself on innovation and utilization of technology.
• This job will help develop control algorithms and will provide technical support to different positions within the organization.
• This job will not require any travel outside of metro Ann Arbor, Michigan.
• The Software Engineer will take on other jobs as assigned by the Director of Product Development.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering is required for this job.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development is required for this job.
• Experience working in teams is essential for this job.
