Job description
- Perform daily operational management of on-premises Skype for Business infrastructure, including Front End pools, Edge services, mediation servers, and voice components.
- Execute break-fix troubleshooting for Skype for Business incidents, service interruptions, call quality issues, and user connectivity problems.
- Monitor platform health, service availability, and performance using approved monitoring tools.
- Support voice, conferencing, presence, and IM services, including PSTN integration where applicable.
- Manage routine administrative tasks such as patching, certificate lifecycle management, service restarts, and configuration maintenance.
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with Unified delivery leadership and customer operations teams to maintain continuity of service.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all operational activities align with supported Microsoft Skype for Business configurations and best practices.
- Support security, compliance, and operational requirements associated with highly cleared environments.
Requirements
- Technician 3 (5 to 8 years of Experience) W2 Salary: $180k/year 1099 rate: $104.81/hour
- Technician 4 (8 to 12 years of Experience) W2 Salary: $218k/year 1099 rate: $136.06/hour
- Technician 5 (8 to 12 years of experience with strategic experience) W2 Salary: $262k/year 1099 rate: $152.88/hour
