Job description
We are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer with a strong Electrical Engineering background to support the integration of advanced sensors into embedded compute platforms and vehicle Electronic Control Unit (ECU) networks. The role involves working across hardware, firmware, and system software layers to ensure reliable communication, data flow, and system performance in complex embedded environments., * Integrate sensors (e.g., cameras, radar, lidar, IMU, environmental sensors) into embedded compute platforms.
- Design and review and validate electrical interfaces including power, signal integrity, grounding, and timing requirements.
- Bring up new hardware platforms and verify sensor functionality.
- Support system-level integration testing and validation between ECU's and sensor subsystems.
- Integrate sensors with embedded compute platforms (SoCs, edge AI modules, or automotive compute units).
- Work with system software teams to enable sensor pipelines and data processing.
- Diagnose issues across hardware, firmware, and network layers.
- Perform system-level testing including sensor synchronization, latency, and bandwidth validation
- Maintain technical documentation including: Design Documents, Integration procedures, and Test report
- Work with teams across: Software engineering, Firmware / embedded software, and validation / test engineering
Support design reviews and provide feedback on integration risks.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with sensor interfaces, embedded systems, and vehicle communication protocols, and enjoys troubleshooting integration issues across multidisciplinary teams., * Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures, * Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
