Job description

We are seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and SQL, along with experience supporting supply chain and distribution center operations.

This role focuses on building scalable data solutions that power logistics, inventory movement, fulfillment, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate understands the complexity of supply chain data and can design high-performance pipelines to support real-time and batch analytics across distribution networks., * Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ELT processes using BigQuery and GCP services

  • Write and tune complex, high-performance SQL queries across large-scale supply chain datasets
  • Build and maintain data models supporting warehouse operations, inventory flow, and logistics performance
  • Ingest and transform data from systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and order management platforms
  • Support analytics related to inventory levels, order fulfillment, shipment tracking, labor productivity, and throughput
  • Partner with supply chain, operations, and analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across enterprise data platforms
  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency within BigQuery and GCP environments

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with BigQuery
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning)
  • Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience supporting supply chain, logistics, or distribution center data environments
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and large-scale data processing, * Experience with Python for data processing or automation
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
  • Experience with real-time or streaming data (e.g., Pub/Sub, Kafka)
  • Exposure to BI/analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience working with high-volume operational data in enterprise environments, * Engineers who understand supply chain and distribution complexity (inventory flow, fulfillment SLAs, transportation constraints)
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to deliver end-to-end data solutions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, operationally critical environments
  • Strong communication skills to partner with both technical teams and operations stakeholders
