Job description

Execute Scrum and Agile methodologies across the full product and application development lifecycle Guide and coach cross-functional teams in Agile principles, team rules, and best practices Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and user demonstrations Support teams in achieving sprint and program goals by removing impediments and blockers Promote Agile quality practices and help build high-performing, collaborative teams Coordinate with other Scrum teams, product owners, and stakeholders across the program Support Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and level-of-effort estimation activities Provide teams with regular feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement recommendations Serve as an Agile resource to answer questions and reinforce Agile discipline Advise government personnel on incremental process improvements to enhance product delivery, services, and standardization Encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation within application development teams

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) clearance 3+ years of experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams with a Bachelor's degree OR 7+ years of experience supporting Agile/Scrum teams without a Bachelor's degree Hands-on experience working in an application development environment Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint execution Ability to work directly with government stakeholders in a structured, compliance-driven environment Strong communication, organization, and team-leadership skills, Scrum Master or Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar) Experience supporting federal or law-enforcement programs Familiarity with Agile metrics, estimation techniques, and continuous improvement practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

About the company

We are seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support a mission-critical FBI Enterprise Data and Application Services (EDAS) program. This role supports Agile application development teams and works closely with government stakeholders to drive transparency, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery across the product lifecycle. This position is 100% onsite at Redstone Arsenal.
