Job description
- Designs and implements secure communication solutions using layered commercial technologies that comply with NSA's CSfC program requirements.
- Develops DAR and DiT architectures aligned with CSfC capability packages, ensuring multi-layer encryption and high assurance protection.
- Builds and maintains compliant CSfC solutions for mobility, network enclaves, remote access, and cross-domain communication.
- Produces engineering documentation, including system designs, configuration baselines, and security artifacts required for accreditation.
- Conducts risk assessments, evaluates system vulnerabilities, and strengthens the security posture of classified communication systems.
- Supports troubleshooting and incident response in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
- Collaborates with network, mobility, and infrastructure teams to ensure end-to-end secure system performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years of direct, hands-on work with CSfC capability packages.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing DAR and DiT solutions using commercial encryption technologies.
- Deep understanding of NSA CSfC Capability Packages, high assurance architectures, and secure mobility frameworks.
- A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards, risk management frameworks, and classified system operations.
- Ability to operate effectively in secure, fast-paced, and high-visibility environments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This role typically supports sensitive government operations requiring strict adherence to security protocols, rapid problem-solving, and the ability to maintain secure communications under demanding conditions. Engineers must be comfortable working in controlled environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams responsible for mission-critical systems.
