Job description

  1. Meta is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our teams. The ideal candidate will have industry experience working on AI related topics. The position will involve taking these skills and applying them to solve for some of the most crucial and exciting problems that exist on the web. We are hiring in multiple locations
  2. Responsibilities
  3. Drive the organization's goal towards building leading AI products and build & optimize our intelligent systems that improve Meta's AI products and experiences
  4. Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail while advocating for higher product quality and engineering efficiency
  5. Assist in goal setting related to project impact, AI system design, and ML capabilities
  6. Develop custom/novel architectures, define use cases, and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
  7. Apply in depth knowledge of how the our AI systems and agents interacts with the other systems around it
  8. Understand industry and Meta wide technology trends in computing technology to help assess & develop new technologies within the AU Systems roadmap
  9. Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient
  10. Partner & collaborate with organizational leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team & organization

Requirements

  1. Vast experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
  2. Experience developing AI products and AI systems infra
  3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  4. Specialized experience in one or mote of the following ML/deep learning domains: AI infra, AI products, GPU architecture, efficiency, optimization
  5. Experience in driving large cross-functional engineering efforts, 1. Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent field
  6. 10+ years of experience with advanced AI systems
  7. Demonstrated track record with Nvidia GPU optimizations
