Please note: This role is contingent upon contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award., * Lead the technical architecture for a federal digital modernization program, designing scalable, secure solutions aligned to mission and platform goals.
- Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines and AWS-hosted enterprise applications to support automated testing, integration, and deployment.
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, technical governance, and documentation to ensure compliance with NIST, Section 508, and federal IT requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to distributed teams, supporting high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and guide the integration of AI/ML capabilities, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures as part of the overall solution.
- Collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to translate requirements into executable designs, manage technical risks, and support program delivery and orals.
Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Architect / Architect Technical Manager who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing skills to help federal agencies modernize legacy systems, migrate to the cloud, and deliver secure, data-driven, and mission-aligned solutions. This role spans enterprise application architecture, cloud and infrastructure modernization, DevSecOps, and data/AI-enabled platforms, while emphasizing mentorship, governance, and delivery excellence., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of technical delivery experience supporting federal customers through
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.) as this work is for a federal contract, and laws do apply.
What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
- Master's degree in a related field.(E.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
- Proven ability to architect and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing enterprise level applications in an AWS Cloud Environment
- Experience supporting federal projects, mentoring technical staff, and fostering innovation
- Expertise in ensuring technical documentation, code, and processes adhere to industry best practices and comply with relevant federal IT standards and guidelines (e.g.NIST, Section 508 compliance)
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into digital modernization programs, including assessing feasibility, risks, governance implications, and resource needs.
- Ability to translate government mission needs into AI-enabled solutions, working with technical teams to define scope, requirements, and success criteria.
- Experience with data engineering, BI platforms, and AI/ML solutions.
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Experience leading distributed or remote teams.
- Certified - AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
