Job description
Customer Billing Services is responsible for proactive research, customer and supplier inquiries, and dispute resolution all with a concentration on customer billing accuracy, acting as a liaison with internal and external key stakeholders. Services multiple customer accounts and/or processes in a fast paced and highly analytical environment., * Work in conjunction with account management team and/or customer regarding invoicing & billing related issues
- SalesForce case work, including, but not limited to credit/rebills and invoicing issues
- Work collaboratively with other functional areas in root cause analysis and problem resolution
- Engage customers in billing process change recommendations and managing customer expectations
- Train and assist account management team in billing practices to mitigate customer inquiry case work
- Applies knowledge of standard OptiFreight processes to resolve unmatched transactions
- Process customer PO Files, customer File Shares, and customer reporting as required
- Review customer transactions prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy
- Attend internal and external meetings associated with problem solving billing issues for specific customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SEQL Server, and other OptiFreight systems
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience working in Excel
- Knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.
- Experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
- Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
- Ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers.
- Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Anticipated hourly range: $22.30 per hour - $28.80 per hour
