Lower Environments Team Lead (UAT & Development)

As the Lower Environments Team Lead, you will take ownership of the stability, reliability and production parity of non-production environments. You will work closely with development, QA, release management and production operations teams to make sure these environments match production closely, stay available and support high-quality releases., * Increasing and maintaining parity between lower and production environments by standardizing tooling, infrastructure and configurations

• Implementing monitoring, alerting and incident response for UAT and Development
• Reducing environment downtime and improving reliability during testing
• Tracking and reporting on environment performance, including outage metrics and improvements delivered
• Collaborating with production operations and development teams to share best practices and ensure consistent operations
• Leading and mentoring the lower environments team to deliver operational excellence

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related STEM field
• 7+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Linux-based environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of network communications, including use of multicast networking
• Prior experience in a leadership, team lead, or supervisory capacity
• Proven record of implementing operational best practices in Dev and UAT settings
• Experience with incident response and root cause analysis
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities under time pressure
• Excellent written and verbal stakeholder communication skills
• Familiarity with programming languages (eg, Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell) for basic automation tasks
• Competence in a broad range of technologies, spanning cloud platforms, containerization, monitoring/alerting systems, and distributed messaging platforms (eg, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, RabbitMQ)
• Prior experience supporting electronic trading systems preferred., * You enjoy diagnosing problems and thinking creatively about solutions

The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $275,000 depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
