Job description

  • Define and establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead and execute production readiness activities, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Permit to Operate procedures.
  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and incident management to maintain high service availability.

Requirements

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and systems operations sector, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Systems Operations Engineering department, supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of essential applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, which will enable you to thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment., * Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, with a focus on reliability engineering.

  • At least 2+ years of experience leading, operating, and performing in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team environment.
  • Proficiency with Autosys and Oracle, supporting enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience supporting applications on Kubernetes / OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of observability tools such as AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Aternity.
