Job description
As a Programmer Analyst III at Jabil, Inc., you will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and support of our Manufacturing Shop Floor Systems in CVG. You will leverage your expertise in software development and manufacturing processes to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that drive operational excellence across our global facilities.
Requirements
*Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency on developing Web Applications and/or Windows Applications in Angular, C#, Python, .NET, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
*Database Management: Expert-level SQL, relational database design, data modeling, and query development.
*System Analysis & Design: Proficient in translating user requirements into technical specifications, utilizing UML or user stories, and creating technical documentation Application Development: Experience with web technologies, front-end frameworks, and back-end services.
*API & Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration brokers Tools & Methodologies: Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, or similar tools for development, applied knowledge on Agile/Scrum methodologies, version control (Git), and debugging tools (Visual Studio).
*Reporting: Ability to extract and transform data according to defined scope and business rules, by using Reporting Services or Power BI.
Language / Idioms: Proficiency on reading, writing and speaking in English., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years focused on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and writing complex queries.
- Familiarity with MES platforms is highly desirable.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and data collection.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET, Angular, React) and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
