Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to support the development and implementation of observability platforms within a global technology environment. Our team delivers end-to-end technical solutions that drive innovation, platform reliability, and business success through best-in-class engineering practices., * Contribute to the design and development of technical solutions for a Kubernetes-based observability platform.

  • Develop Kubernetes controllers, Crossplane compositions, and maintain GitOps deployment of CNCF components.
  • Offer technical guidance to less experienced engineers and promote robust design and architecture standards focused on security, observability, and resiliency.
  • Collaborate with product teams to deliver solutions that align with platform objectives and support end-users, including participating in rotational support for platform users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with a focus in Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience and a minimum of 2 years operating Kubernetes-based solutions in production environments.
  • Proficiency developing distributed systems utilizing public cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and experience working with observability vendor products (Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, NewRelic, Dynatrace).
  • Strong experience with Grafana and comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and layers; experience with Site Reliability Engineering, Crossplane, ClickHouse, or GitOps tools is a plus.
