Job description
MTSI is seeking a Cybersecurity Network Architect SME with expertise in Zero-Trust architectures, Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), and advanced Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to deliver secure, innovative solutions for mission-critical systems. This position requires strategic leadership and technical expertise to deliver secure and scalable solutions that address emergent challenges in cybersecurity, mission assurance, and cross-domain collaboration for DoD operations., Strategic Cybersecurity Leadership:
- Lead the design and implementation of Mission-Focused Assessment and Authorization (MFAA) strategies to mitigate risk and align security controls with mission assurance priorities.
- Architect and sustain Multi-Level Security (MLS) systems to ensure secure data access and dynamic handling of information across classification levels.
- Implement and oversee Zero-Trust cybersecurity frameworks, enabling enhanced data protection, network security, and operational resiliency.
- Drive technical solutions for Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS) to enable secure data exchange and interoperability in multi-domain environments.
- Establish RMF compliance processes to ensure security standards align with DoD directives and support lifecycle system validation.
Systems Integration and Architecture Development:
- Develop secure and scalable system architectures tailored to MLS environments, addressing operational challenges, vulnerabilities, and mission-specific requirements.
- Integrate advanced tools, such as dashboards and analytics frameworks, to track cybersecurity risks and reinforce operational decision-making.
- Lead Purple Team operations, leveraging both offensive and defensive strategies to identify vulnerabilities and optimize system resilience.
- Design secure cross-domain environments that facilitate operational data exchange across classifications while meeting stringent security standards.
Mission Assurance and Collaboration:
- Align cybersecurity solutions with DoD mission assurance objectives, optimizing operational frameworks for critical programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate cyber solutions, risk management strategies, and threat response initiatives.
- Interface with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations on secure architecture designs and mission-specific capabilities.
Proposal Development and Training:
- Provide cybersecurity expertise for business development efforts, contributing differentiated insights for proposals and customer engagements.
- Develop workforce training strategies to align cybersecurity goals with evolving mission requirements and organizational growth.
- Mentor junior engineers while driving standardization and continuity across processes for efficient operations and effective communication.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, RMF compliance, Zero-Trust architectures, and cross-domain solutions.
- Expertise in designing Multi-Level Security (MLS) architectures and implementing mission-focused cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and their application in multi-domain operational environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS) and Zero-Trust methodologies for network security and secure data sharing.
- Hands-on experience with Purple Team operations, incorporating both offense and defense strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities to drive collaboration across technical teams and organizational leadership.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, such as FedRAMP, RMF, ISO9001, and Zero-Trust models.
- Experience developing dynamic dashboards for cyber risk tracking and operational metrics.
- Proven ability to scope cybersecurity strategies for proposals and business development efforts.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or IT Systems preferred.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field required.
- Master's degree strongly preferred.
