Job description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing and demonstrating/communicating software solutions and architectures by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle and Design Controls. He or She will develop quick prototypes to demonstrate the design concepts and product ideas to team, management, product management, Customers etc. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SME's, Architects, product managers etc.
This position reports to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and is part of the Digital Platforms organization located in Chaska, Minnesota and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design and Deliver software solutions
- Work in iterative product release environment, with focus on quality and delivery goals
- Collaboration with cross functional teams Product Management, Service, and Systems team to understand the needs and translate into actionable features.
- Understand complex system issues and drive root cause in a global environment
- Drive solutions with offshore teams and deploy it in the system, provide demos and drive to closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience or or a master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Extensive experience with iterative product delivery using agile & scrum practices and working with distributed scrum teams
- Hands-on experience with domain driven design (developing and testing use case\domain insolation of persistence, IPC and presentation).
- Hands on experience with .Net Core (.Net Std), C#, SQL and No SQL DB
- Great Exposure to Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, version Control (e.g. git).
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel 5% to co-located teams internationally (i.e Bangalore India)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
- Cloud technologies: e.g. AWS and Azure cloud (+)
- Experience working in Medical Device Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- FDA regulated environmental experience

The annual salary range for this role is $100k-$125k . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
