Job description

  • Apply principles, theories and concepts related to the digital modeling of systems
  • Utilize MBSE tools to model and capture program requirements, track performance metrics, manage system engineering processes, and develop complex system models
  • Utilize MBSE tools such as Cameo to develop detailed models that integrate sub-system models
  • Support eventual migration to SysML v2
  • Enable/support development of automation capabilities and establishing a digital thread
  • Collaborate across stakeholders including coworkers, customers, and government program partners
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to managers regarding the creation and implementation of new MBSE methods and techniques
  • Undertake other Systems Engineering duties as determined by manager or his/her delegate

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Systems Engineer - MBSE Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field of study or social science and 0-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.Desired Experience

  • Strong analytical, inference, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MBSE tools and languages
  • OMG or ICOSE certifications
  • Knowledge and experience of Digital Engineering concepts, methodologies, and tools
  • Exposure to integrating MBSE across multiple organizations
  • Experience leading MBSE teams and approach/implementation
  • Strong coding and modeling skills that can be leveraged to interface with data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in small, dynamic teams and deliver products exceeding customer expectations

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: $70,000 - $125,000 Depending on Experience and Education
  • Travel: 10%
