Job description

Peraton is currently seeking a Systems Administrator -Lead Lead, mentor, and support a team of documentation and design professionals, providing guidance, task direction, performance feedback, and workload prioritization.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and crossfunctional teams to gather and understand complex technical information.
  • Create, review, and update user manuals, product guides, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Design and incorporate graphics, illustrations, infographics, and other visual elements to improve clarity, usability, and user engagement.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with U.S. Army regulations, organizational standards, and maintains a consistent, professional appearance.
  • Proofread, edit, and format documents for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Organize and maintain document repositories, version control, permissions, and documentation workflows.
  • Convert technical documentation into multiple formats such as PDF, HTML, and online help systems.
  • Stay current with industry and Army best practices related to documentation, knowledge management, and graphic design.
  • Assist in documenting, refining, and standardizing internal processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely document delivery, updates, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Promote effective communication, resolve teamlevel issues, and ensure alignment with mission objectives and servicelevel expectations.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical, military, or IT environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical information and userfriendly documentation.
  • Ability to balance handson production work with team oversight and administrative responsibilities.
  • Organizational and timemanagement skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and team priorities.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.

  • 6 years of experience, may have lead experience
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Security+ Certification
