Junior Data Engineer

Our client in the Utility industry is seeking a junior-mid level Data Engineer to support data integration, analysis, and heavy automation initiatives. This role focuses on pulling data from multiple systems, performing analysis, and building complex automation platforms-with a strong emphasis on Power Apps-based user interfaces for internal customers., Build and maintain automation solutions to eliminate manual, repetitive processes

• Extract data from source systems using tools such as SSIS, R, or similar ETL/integration tools
• Transform, validate, and load data into relational databases
• Perform data analysis after ingestion to support business operations and decision-making
• Develop Power Apps as the primary user-facing interface for internal platforms
• Build and support complex internal platforms that integrate multiple data sources
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure reliable data flow and automation outcomes

2+ years of experience (junior-mid level) in data engineering, automation, or similar roles

• Experience building automation solutions
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps (key requirement)
• Experience extracting and moving data between systems using ETL or integration tools
• Solid analytical skills with experience performing analysis on ingested data
• Ability to work onsite in Juno Beach, FL, five days per week

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases Familiarity with R (used but not required) Background in building internal platforms or tooling
