Job description
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of a enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, data center, and wireless environments. This is a hands-on engineering position that also involves contributing to network design and serving as a key escalation point for complex network issues.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years supporting enterprise network environments.
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networking.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and optimizing network performance.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and best practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+.
- Exposure to cloud networking concepts, particularly in AWS or Azure environments.
