Senior Software Development Engineer (OCI)

We're looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help us build a new data plane for our customers, scale the service, and improve engineering processes., As a member of the OCI Platform Service team , you will work with our product team and other engineering teams to define new data plane service for our customers. You'll help design those features and then write code to build and operate them. You will help operate our service, troubleshoot problems and generally support our customers. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives.

• 5+ years distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment
• Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in PaaS engineering.
• Experience developing service-oriented architectures and web services security solutions
• Development experience in Java as well as scripting languages
• Experience working with other cloud platform teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (compute, networking, search, store).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences
• Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment., * Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environment
• Familiarity and understanding of distributed computing and cloud-based platforms.
• Understanding of cross-functional platform feature areas in cloud platforms.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
