Job description
The Clinical Analyst will assist in the development, support and functionality of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and supporting IT systems. The Clinical Analyst will assist in optimizing workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet SGMC Health's needs. The Clinical Analyst will learn the EHR system's capabilities and functional use and apply their knowledge of Patient Care and business workflows to assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of a system that meets process needs.
Requirements
- Epic certification or proficiency required within 3 months.
- Two (2) years of experience supporting clinical applications preferred. Clinical experience required.
- Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standards.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one's own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Able to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately while exhibiting the highest level of customer service.

WORKING CONDITIONS- ADA INFORMATION:
Business setting, indoors with possibility of irregular hours and/or call back, moderate to heavy stress on a continued basis. Duties require: Work flexible schedule in order to accommodate on-call and other responsibility including accessing system from out-of-campus to analyze/resolve system problem/halts. Work nights, weekends, and/or holidays on occasions during conversion of software/operating system, or installation of enhancements/hardware, or to meet deadlines. Position allows for occasional remote work as long as job responsibilities are fulfilled. Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination. Standing, walking, and sitting for periods of time. Corrected vision to acceptable range. Lifting, approximately 50 pounds, transporting and installing computer equipment. Must have valid driver's license. Possible exposure to blood and body fluids, including infectious diseases.
