Job description

Superior Alarm Systems is a premier systems integrator specializing in CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. We design and deliver end-to-end security solutions in complex, high-stakes environments-serving clients that range from large pharmaceutical and manufacturing firms to entertainment studios and executive estates.

Our reputation is built on technical excellence, operational discipline, and first-class service.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated enterprise client and to lead a large-scale migration of access control and CCTV systems into Genetec Security Center (Synergis & Omnicast). This is not a coordination role. This is a hands-on, senior program leadership position for someone who deeply understands how Genetec environments should be architected, standardized, and operated at scale.

This role blends technical ownership, client partnership, and program execution - owning both the system and the relationship.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Client Ownership & Program Leadership

  • Act as the trusted, onsite liaison between the client and SAS technical, security, and operations teams
  • Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders, including IT and Security Operations
  • Own timelines, expectations, communication, and delivery across the program

Genetec Migration & Standardization

  • Lead the migration of legacy access control and CCTV platforms into Genetec Synergis and Omnicast
  • Establish and enforce Genetec standards, including:
  • Naming conventions (areas, cameras, user groups)
  • Deployment strategies and programming standards
  • Build sheets, device schedules, and programming templates
  • Ensure the environment is consistent, scalable, and supportable long-term

Audit, Optimization & Remediation

  • Audit deployed cameras and security devices post-migration
  • Identify performance gaps, non-standard implementations, and risk areas
  • Develop and execute remediation and replacement plans aligned with client needs and security standards

Cross-Functional Program Execution

  • Coordinate delivery across:
  • IT & Network Engineering
  • Security Operations
  • Operations
  • Human Resources
  • Lead weekly project meetings, status reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Drive continuous improvement and long-term scalability of the client's security environment

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on fire and life safety technologies deployed by SAS
  • Contribute to cross-training initiatives and program maturity
  • Maintain a security-first mindset across all facilities and projects

Requirements

Technical & Professional Strengths

  • Deep understanding of access control and video systems, not just project tracking
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of D-Tools and Microsoft Office
  • Confident collaborating with clients, internal teams, vendors, and trades

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in enterprise security systems, program management, or low-voltage project leadership
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Genetec Security Center in enterprise environments

Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder security programs (on-site and remote)

Education

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience

Benefits & conditions

  • Medical (with up to 95% of premiums covered), dental, and vision options)
  • Two weeks of vacation per year
  • Seven sick days per year
  • Seven paid holidays per year
  • Training, development, and growth opportunities
  • Company laptop provided
  • Annual salary of $140k-160k (DOE), plus bonus potential
