Senior Support Engineer

• Work with IBM Sterling products such as Connect Direct, along with Control Center (CCD) and Secure Proxy.
• Support and manage Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.
• Handle and maintain transmission protocols like sFTP, Connect:Direct, FTP, etc.
• Manage Unix/Windows Connect Direct support processes.
• Ensure smooth operations through Windows and Unix administration tasks.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis once per month (weekends/holidays when required).

• Experience with IBM Sterling products (Connect Direct, Control Center, CCD) and Secure Proxy.
• Experience in cloud technology, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), with some knowledge of any cloud platform.
• Hands-on experience with transmission protocols (sFTP, Connect:Direct, FTP).
• Strong understanding of Secure Plus protocols (TLS/SSL).
• Knowledge of networking and security, especially cryptography applications and data security.
• Hands-on administration experience with both Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Optional experience with Windows/Unix scripting, including basic shell scripting.
• Experience with Unix/Windows Connect Direct support

This is a Full-Time Salaried role with Capgemini Engineering, based in Capgemini offices in the USA (multiple locations). The position may require need-basis on-call support, including weekends or holidays once a month. The role involves working with IBM Sterling products and other Managed File Transfer technologies, ensuring secure, reliable data movement across platforms and environments., The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $65,200 - $169,000 / year.

The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
