Lead UX Designer - Enterprise Systems & Strategy

A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a Senior UX Design Lead to help envision, shape, and evolve complex enterprise systems within a global supply chain and logistics environment. This individual will operate at a strategic and hands on level and partner closely with product and engineering teams. The role will revolve around the overall user experience, product strategy, and systems in order to help with overall direction and ensure solutions are grounded in user needs while maintaining efficiency and speed.

• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to re architect and envision future state experiences for complex enterprise systems within global supply chain operations.
• Help teams validate user needs and requirements without slowing down delivery or innovation
• Lead and influence early stage concepting and low fidelity prototyping
• Guide teams in maintaining the right mindset around prototyping, ensuring stakeholders are using prototypes as tools for learning rather than final design
• Balance strategic UX thinking
• Provide a strong point of view on user experience and interaction design
• Navigate complex environments with diplomacy, confidence, and influence
• Evolve designs as initiatives mature, transitioning from early conceptual work into more detailed, production ready design

• 6+ years of experience in UX design or product design with time spent operating at a senior or lead level
• Proven experience designing for complex, end to end systems (ex. enterprise platforms, SaaS applications, operational tools)
• Strong background working in house within large enterprise organizations
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through user centered thinking and systems design
• Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers in fast paced environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping teams find clarity

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting logistics or supply chain industries
• Familiarity with AI assisted or AI informed prototyping
• Background in platforms that involve orchestration, intervention points, or exception handling within large systems
