Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Services team to innovate and deliver front end services and backend supportability. You will collaborate and work closely with our Global engineering talents and will have significant opportunities to innovate and modernize the next-gen storage platform.
You will:
- Design and develop the supportability, diagnostics, and front-end control interfaces that power Dell's next-generation AI storage platform.
- Build high-quality REST-based control planes in C++, create robust logging/telemetry systems, and deliver diagnostic and troubleshooting tools used by engineering, field, and customer support teams.
Your work ensures that the platform is observable, diagnosable, supportable, and resilient at scale-reducing MTTR, improving system reliability, and enabling seamless customer experience across deployments.

Requirements
- Hands-on coding experience in C++, Python
- Build supportability, diagnostics frameworks, tools; maintain core dumps and debugging pipelines. Improve platform observability and debuggability.
- Agile-based development experience
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
- Networking and Storage troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge in Kubernetes, Hypervisor and containers
